A bit more details!
Arrive at Madgaon railway station

Walk to the back side of the train station
So once you arrive to the train station, you want to leave the train station from the “back side,” meaning not the main exit.

How to know which is the back side?!
There are basically 2 main platforms at the Madgaon railway station.
Platform 1…

Platform 2 and 3…

You want to take the exit that’s on the side of platform 2 and 3.
Take the road leading away from the station to the main road
You’ll walk down a slope to get out of the train station…

Before you head to the bus station, you can stop by some street shops for a quick snack if you’re hungry!
There are a bunch of food stalls located right outside the train station.

And from here you basically just keep walking in the same direction of the slope.

You’ll pass a fire station.

This will take you to the main road.
There will be a church across the street.

This will be about a 5 minute walk.
Locate the bus stop
When I arrived at the main road, there was a bus waiting at the intersection.

But if there is no bus there when you arrive, you can ask around for “bus to bus station” so you can confirm you are in the right spot.
But basically, as soon as you arrive to the main road, I think you can just stand there and wait for a bus to arrive.
You don’t need to cross the road in order to take the bus to the bus station.
So stay on the side of the road that you arrive at.

So once the bus arrives..
Get on the bus!

And enjoy the bus ride through the city!

How much does it cost?
Once you get on the bus, there will be a guy that comes around to collect the bus fare.
The cost of my bus ride was 10 rupees (US$0.15).
How long is the bus ride?
My bus ride from the bus stop near the train station to the bus station was around 20 minutes.
There was some waiting time in a couple of spots, as they were looking for people to take the bus.
