Hi there!
One of the most famous things about Pondicherry is that it’s home to the French Quarter of India.
As a former colony of France, there’s evidence of the French influence still remaining today in Pondicherry, most significantly in the neighborhood of White Town.
So then, if you want to take in a little bit of heritage without going very far from where you’re staying, you might consider staying in the French Quarter.
And further… you might consider staying at a heritage hotel in the French Quarter!

First, the quick list:
Heritage hotels in Pondicherry
There was a Pondicherry tourist map located right near the main beach of Pondicherry, and these were the hotels that were listed as “heritage hotels.”
